Tales from the Trenches: Buyers are Back!!

As some of you know I moderate the Santa Rosa Chapter of Realtors Tuesday Market Breakfast at the Flamingo Hotel. I’ve been doing this for many years. My radio show and my weekly “stand-up” gig keep my frustrated actor angst at bay! Of interest to you, as a homeseller, is the amount of buyers now being represented at this breakfast.
Our breakfast attracts many of the top 100 agents in the county and we have, with our affiliate members, sometimes in excess of 220 of us in attendance. This means we get a statistically accurate indication of the amount of buyers entering the marketplace.
For the past months I’ve asked for “Buyer’s Wants” and would be greeted with silence!! This has COMPLETELY changed! Now we fill the entire hour with Buyer’s wants! The procedure is to stand up and announce your buyers needs and then we “match” your needs with a listing now on the market or one being prepared to bring to the market.
So when you decide to Sell or Buy make sure your Realtor is visiting the Realtor Breakfasts throughout our county. We have them in every town on different days. Those Realtor attending these marketing opportunities are truly representing your best interests and fullfilling their trust relationship with you.
