Joe the Sports Guy–Week 4 in the NFL!!
September 29th, 2007 . by JoetheSportsGuyWEEK 4…
Well things got to normal in Week 3 for my football life at least for the last couple of years. I was 9-7 in picks …and the Niners lost. Lets see how we can do to change both of those things.
WEEK 3: 9- 7 56.3%
SEASON: 35-13 72.9%
Note: One up on the best Yahoo expert who is still Mike Silver at 34-14…
SEATTLE(2-1) AT SAN FRANCISCO(2-1)…Top of the NFC West at stake and a big game with tiebreaker issues when we start(hopefully) worrying about that in late November. 49ers are not the same team on the road as they are at home. If they are the team I think they are they will win.
OAKLAND (1-2) AT MIAMI (0-3)…So now I guess the Raider fans are okay with calling time out before the winning kick is nailed. The Dolphins have just missed in two of their first three game. Don’t expect them to just miss on this one.
ST. LOUIS (0-3) AT DALLAS (3-0)…Last week I stated the Rams can’t be bad enough to be an 0-3 can they? I guess they are. Make it 0-4.
GREEN BAY (3-0) AT MINNESOTA (1-2)…Its fun watching Brett Favre at it again. The Vikings will not be in a good mood after two tough losses on the road. One less undefeated team to worry about after this one.
HOUSTON (2-1) AT ATLANTA (0-3)…Good timing for Houston coming off the loss to the Colts to have Atlanta on the schedule…Houston is starting to convince me. Atlanta not….
NY JETS (1-2) AT BUFFALO (0-3)….If you don’t count the New England game the Jets haven’t been to bad. Not being to bad should be enough for a win here.
BALTIMORE (2-1) AT CLEVELAND (1-2)….The Raven defense got a wake up call from Kurt Warner of all people. That’s bad news for the Browns.
CHICAGO (1-2) AT DETROIT (2-1)….If I see one more tape showing Lovie Smith over and over saying Rex Grossman is their quarterback I’m going to get sick. Taking the Lions because like the idea of the Bears being 1-3.
PITTSBURGH (3-0) AT ARIZONA (1-2)…This is a tough call. What worries be about Arizona is what they are doing with their quarterbacks.
Steelers in a close one.
KANSAS CITY (1-2) AT SAN DIEGO (1-2)….The Chargers welcome back life in the AFC West with an easy win….and get the critics off their backs….for now.
TAMPA BAY (2-1) AT CAROLINA (2-1)….This division champion could end up 8-8. For now its a battle for the top of the NFC South and for the moment at least Carolina takes control.
DENVER (2-1) AT INDIANAPOLIS (3-0)….The biggest concern for the Colts here is relaxing after two tough road games against division foes.
The usually have their way with Denver at their dome…see no reason why they won’t again.
PHILADELPHIA (1-2) AT NY GIANTS (1-2)(SUNDAY NIGHT)….If the Eagles wear those ugly uniforms I’m taking the Giants. Don’t expect them to though…so the Eagles it is.
NEW ENGLAND (3-0) AT CINCINNATI (1-2)(MONDAY NIGHT)…..New England has scored 38 points in each of their first three games. This game they will go over that mark.
