COLLEGE FOOTBALL…..STANFORD??????????????

You can’t say I didn’t warn you last week about the Stanford-USC game. So I warned the Stanford fans…picky picky picky.

As for the awards of note for this week college football action…

BRONZE…Presbyterian 66 North Greenville 52…118 points in one game…that’s an average of nearly two points a minute. Presbyterian(from South Carolina) quarterback Tim Webb three for 648 yards and seven touchdowns. Presbyterian never trailed in the game…and the two teams combined for 70 points in the 2nd half. The two teams combined for 52 first downs and 1,180 yards. Besides Stanford’s shocking win over USC to basically take care of USC representing the Pac 10 in the BCS Championship Game…NOTRE DAME 20 UCLA 6. Notre Dame’s first win in six games their worse start in their history. Note the game above in the bronze and how many yards that games had. The Notre Dame-UCLA game had 427 total yards.PAC TEN GETS WALLOPED. But hows this score…Yale 50 Dartmouth 10. Yale beating any team 50-10 is worth mentioning. Yale beat Cornell 51-12 two weeks ago(missed that one). They are the first IVY league team in the leagues 51 year history to score 50 points or more against two IVY league teams in the same season.This wasn’t the week of the slaughter as in most weeks.
