NFL PICKS WEEK 13….
November 29th, 2007 . by JoetheSportsGuyAfter saying last week that the TV games weren’t very interesting and being very wrong about that. Now this week the biggest game on paper, most of us won’t see because the NFL Network isn’t on most of the cable systems. Shame on the NFL for letting that happen.
As for the picks:
LAST WEEK: 10- 6 62.5%
SEASON: 111- 65 63.1%
The Yahoo experts that led me got me again this week. Have now fallen four games back of their best expert, and three of their five lead me. So its big week time…
GREEN BAY (10-1) AT DALLAS (10-1) THURSDAY NIGHT…This is THE game that most of us can’t see. This should be a super game. My like for Green Bay + my hate for Dallas. GO PACKERS.
SUNDAY LINEUP
NY JETS (2-9) AT MIAMI (0-11)…Seeing the Jets on Thanksgiving against Dallas I thought I wouldn’t take the Jets anytime soon and look who they play. The heck with it…Dolphins win their first game this week.
HOUSTON (5-6) AT TENNESSEE (6-5)…The Titans have fallen on hard times losing three in a row…and really haven’t been close in any of the three. This will be loss no. 4.
DETROIT (6-5) AT MINNESOTA (5-6)…Speaking of hard times the Lions are looking like the Lions we have come and loved, losing three straight. With their remaining schedule I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t win again. Okay maybe they will beat Kansas City in Week 16, but they won’t win here.
BUFFALO (5-6) AT WASHINGTON (5-6)…The Redskins have the off field news about Sean Taylor to deal with. For that reason I will take them.
ATLANTA (3-8) AT ST. LOUIS (2-9)…The Rams just missed last week against Seattle. Won’t just miss this one.
JACKSONVILLE (8-3) AT INDIANAPOLIS (9-2)…Second biggest game of the weekend…and can make a case as the biggest. AFC South and a first round bye might be decided in this one. The Colts have not been the same team that they were earlier in the season. Still can’t go against them at home in this one.
SAN DIEGO (6-5) AT KANSAS CITY (4-7)….San Diego has won loss won loss the last month so they due for a loss in this one since they won last week. BUT Kansas City has lost four in a row and although a scary game for San Diego…they will get this one, although how they are playing its hard to say they would beat anyone especially on the road - but will take them anyway.
SEATTLE (7-4) AT PHILADELPHIA (5-6)…The Eagles got more good reviews for their lost to New England then anything else they have done this season. Seattle is missing something and will miss winning this game.
SAN FRANCISCO (3-8) AT CAROLINA (4-7)…Who was that team wearing Niner uniforms last week? Where has that been all season? Trent Dilfer at QB or not they will get this one. Carolina is as big of disappointment to their fans as the Niners are to their fans. Call this the Disappointment Bowl.
DENVER (5-6) AT OAKLAND (3-8)….Can it be two weeks in a row the Bay Area teams both win? I think it is.
CLEVELAND (7-4) AT ARIZONA (5-6)…Cleveland hanging right in their in the AFC North race. Arizona spent the whole week wondering how they lost to the Niners. Browns keep the pressure on.
NY GIANTS (7-4) AT CHICAGO (5-6)…Ugly ugly ugly Giant game last week. The ugly continues.
TAMPA BAY (7-4) AT NEW ORLEANS (5-6).…This is going to decide if the NFC South will have a race down the stretch. Taking the Saints even though…1. They are hard to figure out and 2. They have killed me this season.
CINCINNATI (4-7) AT PITTSBURGH (8-3) SUNDAY NIGHT..Hopefully the Steelers field will be in better shape. If so they will so off in front of the national audience.
NEW ENGLAND (11-0) AT BALTIMORE (4-7) MONDAY NIGHT…Another Monday Night thriller. New England near loss wakes them up…long night for a bad Baltimore team.

I’m in Arizona, it’s never interesting for Cardinals fans.

The Cardinals are always a reliable disappointment in Phoenix.
