NFL PICKS WEEK 14…

December 6th, 2007 . by JoetheSportsGuy

And down the stretch we come.  As for the picks here.  For the second time in four weeks and third time all season…under .500.  Some of the picks I made, did it to myself.

LAST WEEK:    7-   9   43.8%
SEASON:       118-74   61.5%  Lowest Percent of the season and fallen six picks behind Yahoo Experts Best.

THURSDAY
CHICAGO (5-7) AT WASHINGTON (5-7)…NFL Network can have this game.  Hard to understand Joe Gibbs meltdown at the end of Sunday’s game against Buffalo.  A mad Redskins teams eats up the Bears.

SUNDAY
OAKLAND (4-8) AT GREEN BAY (10-2)…The weather outside is frightful.  The frozen tundra is.  Speaking of frightful, Oakland has a better quarterback situation then the Packer have at the moment, that is if Brett Favre doesn’t start.  Okay silly me he will start…and cinch the NFC North with the win.

CAROLINA (5-7) AT JACKSONVILLE (8-4)…Carolina goes back to the real world after their win over the Niners.

NY GIANTS (8-4) AT PHILADELPHIA (5-7)...I look at the Giants record and just can’t believe their that good.  So go with the Eagles who aren’t that bad.

ST. LOUIS (3-9) AT CINCINNATI (4-8)….Cincinnati said they treated last weeks game like a playoff game and they got hammered.  Rams are used to playing for nothing but for last place in the NFC West…so they will take this.

TAMPA BAY (8-4) AT HOUSTON (5-7)…Tampa Bay sews up the NFC South with this win.

MIAMI (0-12) AT BUFFALO (6-6)…Remind me not to take the Dolphins again.

DALLAS  (11-1) AT DETROIT (6-6)…The Lions free fall continues.

SAN DIEGO (7-5) AT TENNESSEE (7-5)…same record different meaning.  Tennessee with the win stays in the Wild Card race.  San Diego lucky to be in NFC West.

MINNESOTA (6-6) AT SAN FRANCISCO (3-9)…Remind me not to take the Niners again.

ARIZONA (6-6) AT SEATTLE (8-4)…This win will sew up the NFC West for Seattle.

CLEVELAND (7-5) AT NY JETS (3-9)…The funniest team to watch in the NFL is the Browns.  Needs to keep winning for the playoffs.  Hoping they do.

PITTSBURGH (9-3) AT NEW ENGLAND (12-0)…After watching how Monday Night’s game in Baltimore ended, its hard to believe anyone is going to beat the Patriots.

KANSAS CITY (4-8) AT DENVER (5-7)…These are kind of games that are hard to pick as we go down the stretch.  Both teams are playoff dead.  Since the Chiefs have been dead for awhile…going with Broncos

INDIANAPOLIS (10-2) AT BALTIMORE (4-8) (SUNDAY NIGHT)…The Ravens can’t get Monday Night out of their heads.  For complaining so much the NFL schedules them with another beating by the Colts.

NEW ORLEANS (5-7)  AT ATLANTA  (3-9) (MONDAY NIGHT)…I was going to say to remind me not to take the Saints again.  But this is Atlanta.
