More than 10,000 pounds of waste debris were removed from the channel along with invasive species. 85 riparian native trees including 9 different species were planted along with 58 willows. Today, one year later, the plant survival rate exceeds 95% compared with the State’s minimum of 70%. This riparian wildlife corridor is a green buffer between Grove Street and Foss Creek Villas and, has been restored and continues to be maintained, as required, at no cost to the City.
