Looking at those 2-3 Teams:
As we get enter the second quarter of the NFL season looking at the teams that are 2-3 in a nutshell shows how crazy of season this has started out to be.  Not only the teams that are 2-3, but teams that could be or are over 2-3 makes one takes notice that either this is going to be wild and wacky season…or its the start of a long season and things will get back to normal soon.

HIGH SCHOOL NEWS AND NOTES WEEK 5

October 8th, 2008 . by JoetheSportsGuy

Analy wins a big one…Defense the name of the game…Maria Carrillo wins first ever night home game…SRJC in bad mood after loss…

Analy Makes Their Statement…As Analy won their first four games the question was “Who did they beat?”…The total combined record of those first four teams is 2-15.   They took care of that question as they handled undefeated Healdsburg 17-0, scoring all their points in the first half and holding Healdsburg to under 150 yards of total offense.   The 5-0 start is their best start since 2003 when they also started by winning their first five games.  Their best start since then is 1-0.   Last season they went 2-8. Now that the Raider soap is over, at least the coaching drama part of it is, we can move on with our lives.  Although you have a feeling as long as Al Davis is around…the Soap is only a newsbeat away.    That Press Conference just adds to the evidence that the Raiders will not be much of a factor (except for a big laugh now and then) until Davis is gone…and we all know when that will be.

CARDINAL NEWMAN 34 PALMA 33…The game could have a big say on who makes the Division III state championship game in December, but forget about that at the moment.    Five lead changes, four in the second half, throw in a tie and a dramatic finish equals a Classic Game.    Read the rest of this entry »

The so called experts have been saying that Parity in the NFL is a thing of the past..at least for the time being.   Looking at the first two weeks,  the death of Parity may of been exaggerated.  Especially in Week 2 where eight games had lead changes in the final quarter..which is one short of NFL Record.  Read the rest of this entry »
