Niners Fire Their Coach..
The most amazing thing about Mike Nolan getting fired is the reaction of the press. It has the appearances that the move caught the them by surprise. Yes I know that most of them were calling for the move, in some cases before the season started, but it seem to hit them in the head that the Niners haven’t been very good lately. Well DUH. Fifteen yards on the press for piling on. Read the rest of this entry »
Another Week Full Of Close Games….If I Was Niner GM…Among Other Notes..
Five Games had the winning points scored in the final ten seconds last week. Count them Five Games. That’s a NFL Record in a year of the quarterback, that is also turning into the year of the close games. By the way I was 2-3 in those five games. I will settle for that.

Looking at those 2-3 Teams:
As we get enter the second quarter of the NFL season looking at the teams that are 2-3 in a nutshell shows how crazy of season this has started out to be. Not only the teams that are 2-3, but teams that could be or are over 2-3 makes one takes notice that either this is going to be wild and wacky season…or its the start of a long season and things will get back to normal soon.

Now that the Raider soap is over, at least the coaching drama part of it is, we can move on with our lives. Although you have a feeling as long as Al Davis is around…the Soap is only a newsbeat away. That Press Conference just adds to the evidence that the Raiders will not be much of a factor (except for a big laugh now and then) until Davis is gone…and we all know when that will be.
We are at the quarter pole of the NFL Season and some thoughts: Read the rest of this entry »
Here we are just three Weeks into the NFL Season and there are some obvious adjustments that has to be made with our NFL part of the Brain.

The so called experts have been saying that Parity in the NFL is a thing of the past..at least for the time being. Looking at the first two weeks, the death of Parity may of been exaggerated. Especially in Week 2 where eight games had lead changes in the final quarter..which is one short of NFL Record. Read the rest of this entry »
As was the case during the off season, the Quarterback is making the big news. In the off season it was where Favre is going to end up and who will be the Niners Quarterback. After Week One the Quarterback News Continues.
Tom Brady OUT for the season
Vince Young OUT for a least a while and sounds like mentally permanently checking out
Jeff Garcia OUT at least this week (although he says he can play)
and Alex Smith OUT for the season and looks like the end of his Niner Career. Read the rest of this entry »
The NFL Season IS Here: First of all if you are waiting for a Super Bowl prediction that so many people like the do…forget it. I was so terrible at it last season and it was such a Slam Dunk choice, at least one of the teams were. This season has questions with so many teams at the most important position: Quarterback. Who most people think are the Two Best Quarterbacks in the league didn’t take a snap in the Preseason because of injuries and then the other issues involving other teams. So what I’m going to do is make comments about certain teams as I make my first week picks. Fair enough? Well it has to be. Read the rest of this entry »
I can feel the excitement. As getting used to it being the middle of summer and school starting…what a combination.
While I was gone some catching up…
The Soap Opera: Last season I wrote and I quote “the NFL World is a better place when Brett Favre has a win”. Talk about overstaying your welcome. Read the rest of this entry »
